NORTHERN RACING PRODUCTS

Mike Beamish got involved in auto racing in 1969. With friends Jim Stasson and Pat Garafalo, they built a hobby stock car and competed at Raceway Park and Elko Speedway in Minnesota.

In 1972 after getting out of the military, Mike started a small business  selling racing parts to his fellow competitors. In the mid 70's, Mike along with his friend Mark Langer expanded to manufacturing race car components and wholesaling them to local speed shops. This humble beginning eventually became the business today known as Northern Racing Products.

In 1982, Mike began a business relationship with Wayne Lensing, owner of Lefthander Chassis in Rockford Il. Lefthander became the dominant race car chassis in Minnesota asphalt racing as a result of this. As of 2013, Northern Racing has sold close to 150 Lefthander chassis. NRP has established relationships with Pathfinder and  Steve Strasburgs Race Car Help offering their full product lines. The goal of Northern Racing is to continually offer the the cutting edge in race car chassis and design.

Most recently the needs of the road racing community have offered new growth and opportunity. Services includes chassis repair, roll bar installation, modification and custom sheet metal work.

Continually reinvesting in equipment and parts, today the business provides it's services to all forms of motorsports with a customer base of circle track racers, road racers and anything with an engine and wheels.
